Cultivate Giving provides fundraising consulting to small nonprofits. We, ourselves, are a small team who work very collaboratively, learning and sharing best practices with one another. For the past two years, we’ve been developing online tools and templates. Now, we are at an exciting point for growth as an influencer helping nonprofit staff and boards build revenue through simple, short, how-to fundraising videos. We’ve added a new role for a video editor to help us create a consistent, creative, friendly brand for our recorded and online content. We’re flexible (5-20 hours/week), and may be able to add other responsibilities related to other online content (social + WordPress + Hubspot). Opportunity for long-term, staff role if desired.

Why work with us?

Of the nearly 1.45 million U.S. nonprofits, 70% have a budget of less than $100,000. That’s a lot of small nonprofits! And that’s our focus. We offer opportunities to learn and grow with our team, while you do good in the world — and in West Marin. We’ve had the incredible opportunity to work with Bolinas Community Land Trust, CLAM, Two Valleys  Community Land Trust, West Marin Fund, West Marin Community Services, and West Marin Senior Services.

Working with us, you’ll learn about the nonprofit sector and fundraising – the revenue machine that drives every nonprofit’s work. (And fundraisers are one of the highest paid and most rewarding roles in the nonprofit sector!) We offer a learning environment that is supportive, accountable and entrepreneurial, and work that is challenging and meaningful. Our tools help build a resilient and sustainable nonprofit sector by creating fundraising ease. We give back by providing free content and low-cost services, and we’ve worked with nonprofits across Marin and the U.S.
